The simple porch shade, made to your opening instead of the nearest stock size. Outdoor mesh woven in our own mill, powder-coated aluminium tube, two stainless guide cables, a hand crank — or a motor if you'd rather press a button.
“A crank, a mesh, two cables — and the size is yours, not one of four boxes. It is the shade for a porch or pergola that gets sun, not storms; for the windy side of the house, ask us about the ZT06.”

Two brackets, a tube, two guide cables and a crank. One person can do it; two is quicker for anything over 2 m.
Roller tube with the fabric, two brackets, two guide cables with bottom fixings, crank handle (or motor and remote), screws and plugs.
Hold the brackets where the tube will sit — on the wall above the opening or on the ceiling of the porch. Level them, mark, drill, plug if it is masonry, screw on.
Sit the tube in the brackets, crank side where you want to stand. Roll the fabric down a little to see it hangs square.
Drop a cable from each bracket, fix the bottom anchors so the cables are plumb and the same distance apart top and bottom, then tension them.
Crank it all the way down and up once. Motorized: connect power, pair the remote with the card in the box, set the bottom limit first, then the top.
The ZT06 locks the fabric into side tracks with a zipper and is tested for wind; this shade runs on two guide cables, which keeps it neat and square but does not seal the edges. Choose this for sun and privacy on a sheltered porch, and the ZT06 for exposed, windy sites.
Same idea, but the ZT14 comes in four fixed widths from stock and ships in days. This one is made to your width and drop and takes about 7–9 weeks.
Roll it up. Cable-guided shades are for everyday sun, not storms — the crank makes that a ten-second job.
Yes: tubular motor with remote, 110 V for North America or 230 V for Europe, added at the estimate step.
